Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Weekend Warrior Med Tech / Medication Aide, where your energy and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. This vital role involves providing exceptional personal care, medication assistance, and support to seniors and individuals with diverse needs during weekend shifts. HOURS:
7am-7pm and 7pm-7am Friday-Sunday Responsibilities Assist residents with daily personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence and dignity. Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols, including oral medications, and other authorized treatments. Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive resident care and communication of medical updates. Skills Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments is highly valued. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior or geriatric care best practices. Proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or similar platforms for accurate documentation. Strong understanding of medication administration procedures including tube feeding and catheter care. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and maintaining strict resident confidentiality at all times. Excellent caregiver communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving techniques tailored for individuals with disabilities or memory impairments. Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
