Full-time, Night shift 7:00 PM

  • Medications Technician's/AMAP
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, eating/feeding, toileting, transferring and ambulation and medication management.
  • Actively encourage resident participation in exercise programming and Community activities.
  • Provide assistance to residents participating in exercise programming and other activity programs.
  • Participate in set up of dining room as directed, serve meals to residents, and assist residents during meal time as necessary.
  • Assist with cleaning of dining rooms as assigned.
  • Practice safety procedures and comply with established reporting of accidents and injuries to Resident Wellness Director, Resident Care Director, Wellness Nurse or designee.
  • Complete all orientation and training requirements as outlined by state regulations and community policies and procedures.
  • Report all changes in resident's health status to Resident Wellness Director, Resident Care Director, Wellness Nurse or designee.
  • Maintain current local and state certification, if applicable.
  • Attend to other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Facilitate Communication:
  • Review and documents in the Daily Log routinely/daily.
Administrative:
  • Document and/or complete assignments as schedule.
  • Document in Resident Service Book and/or other appropriate areas routinely/daily.
Leadership:
  • Lead by example, being visible, involved, accessible, and have the ability to mentor new team members.
Qualifications:
    Education:
    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
    • Med tech certification in the West Virginia area
    • Experience:
      Six (6) months prior long term care experience preferred.
    Testing:
    Pre-placement drug test and criminal background check.
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • Good organizational and time management skills.
    Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people. Able to work flexible hours and be available to respond during off duty hours to community problems and emergencies. Possess good judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Possess the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in the language of the residents.
