Job Description
Responsibilities Located in Birmingham, Alabama Clinical Schools provides therapy and treatment to males ages 9 to 18. Our campus offers a relaxing setting for youth who are working through mental health disorders, behavioral issues, and sexually reactive behaviors. We provide 24-hour supervision, individualized care, and educational services with low student/teacher ratios, to ensure patients are receiving structured and holistic care. Our campus features semi-private bedrooms, unit group rooms, dining facilities, and spacious grounds within a secure facility. Alabama Clinical Schools has been a behavioral healthcare provider in the Birmingham area for over 20 years. Our treatment services range from intensive residential treatment to therapeutic foster care for males and females of all ages. Our RISE and Specialized Therapeutic Foster Care programs for boys are the only programs of their kind in the State of Alabama.

He/she will provides direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders, to ensure their safety and well-being. MHA's have the primary responsibility for ensuring the resident's safety on the unit utilizing a therapeutic approach to all tasks including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups and other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor.
