Job Description
Amergis is urgently hiring School Behavior Classroom Aides to support students with special needs in K-12 classrooms. Our teams provide the local guidance, high-touch support, and smooth onboarding that help you succeed from day one.
- What You'll Do:
- + •Classroom support•— Assist students 1:1 or in small groups to stay engaged and follow classroom routines.

- Positive behavior guidance
- — Reinforce expectations, encourage participation, and support emotional regulation. +
- Personal care
- — Provide toileting, diapering, and hygiene assistance as needed. +
- Collaboration
- — Work closely with teachers, SPED teams, and behavior staff. +
- Feedback implementation
- — Apply direction from teachers and supervisors to strengthen daily practice. +
- Professional kindness
- — Maintain a patient, respectful, people-first approach with all students and staff. +
- Documentation
- — Record basic observations on student behavior and participation.
- Compensation:
- + $20-$26/h depending on clinical skill and experience + We offer Weekly Pay! + Benefits include Medical, dental, vision, health advocacy, EAP, 401K
- Minimum Requirements:
- + High School diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred + One (1) year of school experience preferred + One (1) year of experience supporting kids with disabilities + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
