  • The
  • School Aide
  • works with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher, and/or supervising designee.
Responsibilities may include:
? Providing classroom support to students ? Assisting with instructional and behavioral needs ? Supporting students with personal care and mobility needs ? Assisting with therapeutic care plans as directed by healthcare professionals ? Collaborating with teachers and school staff to promote student success ? Helping maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • ? Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Current CPR Certification (if applicable)
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
  • Current Health Certificate (per contract or state requirements)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
