Job Description

Are you fluent in American Sign Language and have a passion for supporting students with behavioral needs? We're looking for an ASL-fluent Behavioral Classroom Aide to serve Deaf and hard-of-hearing students with behavioral needs across K-12 school settings in Corona Norco Unified School District for the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. Compensation:
$24.00 per hour

Partnership with National University that provides a 15% tuition discount Free RBT Certification pathway — our 40-hour Last Mile Training program with hands-on supervision gets you credentialed at no cost to you What You'll Do You'll support Deaf and hard-of-hearing students with behavioral needs in one of two capacities: 1:1 Student Support Accompany a specific student throughout their school day, using ASL to provide continuous behavioral and academic support tailored to their individual goals. General Classroom Support Work alongside a lead teacher to assist multiple students in a structured classroom, using ASL to facilitate communication, comprehension, and behavioral redirection in real time. Day-to-day responsibilities include : Implementing behavioral support strategies using ASL-based communication Serving as a trusted communication bridge between students, teachers, and administrators Staying active throughout the day (standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs) Contributing to a collaborative, student-first team culture Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs as required
Requirements:
Demonstrated ASL fluency High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or behavioral management CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred :
