Our center provides adherent and informed DBT and RO DBT services through both individual sessions and skills groups from our offices in Corte Madera (main office), San Francisco, and Oakland. Guidepost DBT operates as a Collective group of affiliated therapists dedicated to providing the highest quality, evidence-based, mindful therapy. This is a W-2 position (all Associate Therapists are employees of Guidepost DBT).

Job Requirements:

Hold a valid Associate Mental Health Therapist license in the state of California (i.e.

AMFT, ACSW, ASW

). Please note that candidates who do not yet hold a valid Associate Mental Health Therapist license will not be considered. Have already completed or be willing to complete the Foundational DBT Training and Level

training within their first 6 months at the center. Prior DBT experience is not required, but is preferred. Be available Monday to Friday after school hours (3:00-8:00pm) in person at our office in Corte Madera. Depending on client demand, possibility to make 1-2 days virtual. Maintain a minimum caseload of 15 clients per week Contribute in leading and/or co-leading skills group Attend quarterly staff trainings Maintain electronic client records Collaborate with administrative staff to support client care Attend weekly consultation team meetings Attend weekly supervision meetings

Is passionate about DBT and how it can dramatically improve the lives of a broad range of clients. Has a desire to work in a group practice, to share their insights with clients and peers to advance our field. Understands that DBT is a journey that requires continuing education and collaboration with your peers. Is looking for work in the evenings, during after-school hours, and has a passion for working with adolescents and young adults in particular.

Our Interview Process:

Successful candidates will then meet with the Clinical Director for an in-depth interview about their therapy experience and qualifications.
