  • Surrounding Areas Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced, dependable Behavior Technicians to support K-12 students within local school districts throughout the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding Los Angeles County communities.
These positions offer a consistent daytime schedule , placement at a single school site , and immediate start opportunities for qualified candidates. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to continue through the 2026-2027 academic school year . Position Overview We are looking for professionals with strong behavioral support experience who can confidently implement intervention strategies, collaborate with educational teams, and help students achieve success in the classroom environment. Pay & Schedule $22-$26 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-2:00 PM School-based setting only - No evenings, weekends, or in-home cases Weekly pay via direct deposit Immediate openings available Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with consistency and fidelity Support student IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior objectives Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and session data Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, administrators, and BCBAs Demonstrate professionalism and effective de-escalation strategies when addressing challenging behaviors Qualifications Previous experience as a Behavior Technician, Behavioral Aide, Paraprofessional, Instructional Aide, or similar role Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and classroom support Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings Reliable, professional, and team-oriented mindset High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework is a plus Ability to meet district onboarding, background check, and clearance requirements RBT certification preferred, but not required Why Join Amergis?
