  • School Behavior Technician — Amergis
  • San Bernardino, CA
  • Pay Rate:
    $23-$26 DOE
  • Support students in classroom and campus settings by helping them build positive behaviors, social skills, and independence. Work directly with students who need behavioral or academic support, following individualized plans created by teachers, clinicians, and behavior specialists.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students during class, recess, lunch, and transitions + Follow behavior intervention plans and reinforcement strategies designed by supervisors + Assist students with staying on task, completing assignments, and managing classroom expectations + Model positive behaviors and help students practice social and emotional skills + Collect daily behavior data and document student progress for the supervising team + Support teachers with classroom routines, redirection, and maintaining a safe learning environment + Communicate observations and updates to teachers, behavior analysts, and Amergis staff + Help students with coping strategies, problem-solving, and emotional regulation + Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and consistent support throughout the school day •Skills Used•+ •Behavior support•+ •Classroom assistance•+ •Data collection•+ •Positive reinforcement•+ •Student supervision•+ •Communication•
Qualifications:
