Inclusion Aide (After-School Program) $25/hour | Multiple Locations Throughout San Diego County Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring Inclusion Aides for after-school programs throughout San Diego County, with openings available from Poway to Chula Vista and east to La Mesa and El Cajon. If you're passionate about supporting children and helping them succeed in social and recreational settings, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. Position Overview As an Inclusion Aide, you will provide one-on-one support to a student participating in an after-school program. Your role is to encourage positive behavior, support social interaction, and help the student successfully engage in activities alongside their peers. You will work closely with program staff to ensure students have a safe, positive, and inclusive experience. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to assigned student(s) Assist with behavior management and redirection strategies Promote student participation in group activities and social interactions Support inclusion within the larger after-school program Monitor student safety and well-being Communicate effectively with program staff and supervisors Assist students with personal or mobility needs as directed Document and report observations as required Schedule Monday-Friday Availability required between 12:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM Typical shifts begin between 12:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM and end between 5:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM Full schedules and part-time substitute opportunities available 2026-2027 School Year Pay & Benefits $25 per hour Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits Dedicated recruiter support via phone, text, and email Opportunities for career growth in education and student support services Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR certification if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable Current health certificate (per contract or state regulations) Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements Preferred Experience Behavioral support Special education Instructional aide or paraprofessional roles Childcare or youth programs ABA or behavior intervention support Mentoring, tutoring, or caregiving experience Working with children with diverse learning or behavioral needs Why Join Us?
