The Role:
Ro Health is hiring Behavioral Class Aides to support the Academy School District 20 for the 2026-2027 school year. As a Behavioral Class Aide, you will play a key role in helping students with behavioral and developmental needs access their education in a safe and supportive environment. You'll work closely with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists to provide 1:1 or small-group support, implement behavior plans, and foster positive classroom engagement. This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about education, behavioral health, or working with children and teens. As a 1:1 support: you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals.
General classroom supports:
providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day. Responsibilities Provide direct support to students with behavioral and social-emotional needs Assist with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Promote a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment Support teachers with classroom management and daily activities Track and document student progress and behavior as directed Collaborate with school staff and Ro Health consultants to ensure consistency of care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Candidates must be instructionally eligible Associates Degree Preferred Experience working with children, working in behavioral health/ ABA Therapy, or special education/ school settings preferred Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or challenging situations Commitment to working the full 2026-2027 school year What Ro Health Offers Competitive pay with weekly direct deposit Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k options Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Dedicated Ro Health support staff to assist you throughout your assignment A chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and families How to
