Drift Behavioral Health is looking for a part-time Recovery Support/Mental Health Technician to join our team and support our programming . This position is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and understands that sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply showing up, building trust, and helping create an environment where clients feel supported and comfortable engaging in treatment. Drift provides outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for both adults and adolescents . We are looking for someone who can connect with different personalities, maintain healthy boundaries, support the clinical team, and bring consistency and positive energy into the program. Individuals with lived experience in recovery are strongly encouraged to apply. Part-time A few shifts per week, with the potential for additional hours based on program needs. What You'll Do Support clients throughout daily programming and group sessions Help create a welcoming, safe, and structured environment Build rapport with both adult and adolescent clients Encourage clients to participate and stay engaged in treatment Assist clinical staff with group needs and day-to-day program operations Help clients navigate challenges while maintaining appropriate boundaries and accountability Monitor attendance and communicate concerns to the treatment team Document relevant client interactions, behaviors, and observations Assist with de-escalation and client support when difficult situations arise Communicate effectively with therapists, support staff, and leadership Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable treatment environment Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and program requirements What We're Looking For We aren't just looking for someone to sit in the building and monitor clients. Experience in behavioral health is helpful, but so is the ability to connect with people who may be having one of the hardest days of their lives.

Ideal candidates will have:

Experience working in mental health, substance use treatment, recovery, or another helping profession preferred Experience working with adolescents ages 12-17 strongly preferred Strong communication and people skills Ability to connect with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries Comfort working around different personalities and group dynamics Basic understanding of mental health, addiction, and recovery Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations Clear and accurate documentation skills Reliability and consistency A team-first attitude Commitment to client confidentiality Why Drift?
