Job Description

This contract paraprofessional opportunity focuses on working closely with a small caseload, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support role preferred Ability to provide individualized attention and adapt instructional support for 6th-8th grade students Comfort working with students with significant support needs Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset Patience, reliability, and a caring attitude toward children
Role Responsibilities:
Aid classroom instruction, assisting the lead teacher with daily activities and lesson implementation Offer hands-on guidance and redirection, promoting achievement and engagement for students with diverse needs Foster a welcoming, respectful classroom culture where every child feels included Support routine documentation and ongoing communication about student progress Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies at all times Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other scheduled activities
