You'll make a direct and lasting impact by providing essential 1:1 and classroom support for students, primarily serving those on the Autism Spectrum who present a range of behavioral challenges from mild to extreme.

Your Role:

Deliver individualized, 1:1 assistance for students, with classrooms averaging 5-7 children—each supported by a dedicated paraprofessional. Employ behavioral support strategies to foster positive development and learning outcomes. Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff to adapt and implement lesson plans and interventions. Assist with daily routines, which may involve supporting students with toileting needs. Maintain reliability and consistency to provide a stable, supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications and Experience:

1-2+ years of previous experience in behavioral support or special education settings required. Demonstrated ability to work empathetically and patiently with children exhibiting behavioral challenges. Reliable, flexible, and committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment. Comfortable with high-intensity, dynamic classroom settings, including students requiring close supervision. Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
