Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Bristol, CT. This assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027, covering the entire 2026-2027 school year. There is a need for two SLPs to provide services across multiple schools, working full time Monday through Friday for 35-37.5 hours each week. Candidates must be able to provide on-site services; remote or virtual work will not be considered.

Qualifications:

Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school setting preferred Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 caseload Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work across multiple school sites Must be able to commit to in-person, on-site services

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide therapy sessions for students across several school buildings Maintain accurate documentation and progress records Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and student support discussions Adapt to changing caseload and student needs throughout the contract period This position offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you can have a meaningful impact on students' development and success.
