Part-Time Contract Therapist - Outpatient Setting (Danbury) An established outpatient practice in Danbury is seeking a Licensed or Associate Mental Health Therapist for a part-time contract position.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couple, and family therapy both in-person and via telehealth Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop clear, goal-oriented treatment plans Manage and maintain an active caseload with timely documentation and progress notes Collaborate with clinical supervisors and multidisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care Support clients with behavioral issues, anger management, parenting skills, and emotional regulation Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings as needed Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards Stay informed on best practices and evidence-based interventions through continuing education
Qualifications:
Licensed or Associate Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) Experience in behavioral issues, anger management, and family systems preferred Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish preferred Comfortable providing telehealth services when appropriate If you're compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing effective therapy in both in-person and remote settings, we'd like to hear from you.
