Join MCCA as a Behavioral Health Counselor - Sharon, CT Residential Counselor / Behavioral Health Clinician We are seeking a compassionate and skilled counseling professional to join our Residential Program. The ideal candidate will have experience working in human services and providing counseling services for individuals with substance use and/or behavioral health disorders. Essential Responsibilities Complete client intake, assessments, admissions, and treatment recommendations. Determine eligibility and level of care based on diagnostic and program criteria. Provide individual, group, and family counseling services. Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups as assigned. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans. Monitor client progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Communicate program expectations and provide client and family education. Collaborate with treatment team members and community providers to ensure quality client care. What We're Looking For...
Licensure :
Must hold one of the following Connecticut licenses: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, LPCA, LMFTA, or LMSW .
Education :
Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Social Sciences field.
Technical Skills :

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
