Job Description:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor faculty position in Aging, Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology . Academic rank and tenure status will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and accomplishments. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized academic neurology department and contribute to the clinical, educational, research, and service missions of the University of Florida. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the care of patients with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, mild cognitive impairment, frontotemporal disorders, Lewy body disease, and other cognitive and behavioral neurologic conditions within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services for patients with cognitive, behavioral, and neurodegenerative disorders. Participate in multidisciplinary memory disorders and aging-related clinical programs. Contribute to the development and growth of innovative clinical and research initiatives in cognitive neurology and aging. Teach and mentor medical students, neurology residents, fellows, and other trainees. Participate in clinical research, translational research, clinical trials, quality improvement initiatives, or other scholarly activities aligned with the candidate's interests and expertise. Collaborate with faculty across Neurology, Psychiatry, Neuroscience, Geriatrics, Neuropsychology, and other disciplines. Engage in departmental, college, and university service activities.

Required Qualifications:
MD, DO, or equivalent degree. Board certified or board eligible in Neurology. Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Florida. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and academic medicine.
Preferred:
The ideal candidate will possess: Completion of a United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS)-accredited fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry (BNNP), Cognitive Neurology, Dementia, or a related subspecialty. Experience in the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Knowledge of emerging diagnostic tools and disease-modifying therapies for neurodegenerative disorders. Participation in clinical trials, translational research, or other scholarly activities related to aging, cognition, or behavior. Record of publications, presentations, and research funding appropriate to academic rank. Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and academic program development.
