We're hiring a Psych Provider Assistant for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department. This is a Full Time Days opportunity working 8:30am to 5:00pm located at Baptist Medical Center downtown campus. The Psych Provider Assistant (PPA) will support the Behavioral Health Department by assisting providers, patients and front desk staff. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work.
Psych Provider Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
The direct assistant to the psych provider. Manages all administrative duties for the psychiatrist. Performs similar functions for the non-psychiatrist providers as needed. Answering incoming calls on a phone queue Provide assistance to patients and staff across all office locations Dually trains as an office specialist and has knowledge of the billing and scheduling job codes. Ensures that the office runs smoothly and without disruption.
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years Behavioral health experience in lieu of preferred education
Education and Credential Requirements:
