Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and assist with daily living activities in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Your energetic approach and dedication will empower clients to achieve their fullest potential while working closely with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment plans and ensure effective behavior management strategies. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, feeding, and other self-care tasks to promote independence. Implement behavior intervention plans designed by supervising clinicians, ensuring consistency and positive reinforcement techniques. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies tailored to their unique needs, fostering skill acquisition across various domains. Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation, including progress notes, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to update treatment goals, adapt interventions as needed, and ensure holistic care for each individual served. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including ABA methods and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation procedures, and maintaining HIPAA compliance in healthcare settings. Demonstrated ability to collect detailed data during therapy sessions and utilize it to guide treatment decisions. Strong teaching skills combined with patience and empathy to support diverse client needs. Experience assisting with ADLs or providing patient care in a clinical or educational environment is a plus. Certification as an RBT or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required; ongoing training in behavior health is encouraged.
