We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Consultant (SLC) to provide high-quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, and cognitive disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health, special education, and community care practices. As a Supported Living Consultant (SLC), you will play a vital role in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients by delivering personalized support tailored to their unique needs. Core Job Duties Include:

Training & Skill Development :

Teach and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, shopping, and household chores insytt.com+1.Help clients improve or retain skills in areas like budgeting, meal planning, and community engagement APD.

Housing Support:

Assist with locating, acquiring, or improving housing that meets APD's community housing standards (e.g., available for lease/purchase by anyone, client's own choice, and name on lease/mortgage) insytt.com+1.

Community Integration:

Encourage and support participation in community activities to promote independence and social skills APD. Emergency & 24/7

Support:

Offer emergency response services and be available 24/7, 7 days a week for client safety APD.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain detailed service logs, care plans, and required documentation for APD review and reimbursement Skills Experience working with individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders in home or community settings. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills to foster positive client relationships and collaborate effectively with team members. Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely while providing personal transportation assistance as needed. Experience in caregiving roles involving medication administration, data collection, and supporting clients with cognitive disabilities. First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergency situations.
