In this vital role, you will administer psychological assessments, support diagnostic processes, and contribute to comprehensive treatment planning for individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Your expertise will help inform clinical decisions, enhance patient care, and promote positive outcomes in mental health and behavioral services. No previous psychometric testing experience? That's okay. Candidates with strong psychology backgrounds and experience working with children are encouraged to apply. We provide structured training in standardized administration, scoring, behavioral observation, and commonly used assessment instruments. Duties Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and assessments for clients of all ages, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Support clinicians by collecting detailed patient histories through interviews and intake procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and perform basic medical procedures such as first aid and CPR when necessary during assessment sessions. Document assessment results accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring clarity and compliance with medical documentation standards. Assist in behavioral intervention plans utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with social workers, mental health professionals, and caregivers to develop comprehensive care strategies that address client-specific challenges like PTSD, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities. Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention protocols to ensure client safety at all times. Requirements Proven experience working with children and adolescents in clinical or educational settings. Knowledge of mental health conditions including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, addiction, and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Familiarity with behavioral health practices such as behavior management, behavior intervention, and crisis management. Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in crisis intervention or applied behavior analysis are a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, client communication documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
