We handle billing, credentialing, liability, the EHR, and advertising so your time goes to clinical work. We're hiring full-time associate-licensed therapist to join a team of clinicians who are committed to growing as professionals through consultation and learning from each other. About our practice Our mission is to set the standard for authentic, compassionate, trauma-centered mental health and harm-reduction psychotherapy in Athens and throughout Georgia. We meet people where they are in their change process and respect how they want to move forward, in the room with clients and with each other as colleagues. Our work is shaped by six values: authenticity, connection, meaning, respect, embracing both/and, and flourishing. In practice that means trauma-centered, harm-reduction, and relationally-focused care. We emphasize both/and thinking over either/or dichotomies, client self-determination as central to growth, and clinician sustainability treated as essential to good work, not an afterthought. Compensation and structure W2, fee-for-service at 50% of collected fees (insurance and private pay), with adjustments possible once you reach full-time status for the preceding quarter Estimated annual earnings at a full 23-hour caseload: $60,000, with higher earnings for clinicians who carry more. Caseloads typically build over several months. Full-time equivalent is 23 clinical hours per week (averaged quarterly; groups count as a clinical hour), with 28 hours of scheduled availability One evening per week (until 7pm) or one 4-hour weekend block In-person at our Athens office, with telehealth where clinically appropriate Unlimited time off as needed What's covered for you Furnished office and shared waiting area No-cost onsite clinical consultation and supervision (LMSW only; LAPC and LAMFT will work with you to arrange supervision) Billing, credentialing, and liability handled by the practice Built-in referrals CE and licensing reimbursement available No on-call expectations Advertising provided Who we're looking for Active, current Georgia license (LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT) at the associate level, with a master's in social work or counseling from an accredited institution Experience (1 year minimum of paid experience) with older adolescents, emerging adults, and established adults Practices from a trauma-centered, harm-reduction, relationally-focused perspective and believes in client self-determination Comfortable working independently while valuing collegial consultation and direct feedback Open to leading or co-leading process groups for non-mandated clients Helpful, not required A niche or focus area (LGBTQ+, neurodivergence, trauma, grief, anxiety, substance use, teens, etc) Prior private or group practice experience Interest in community outreach, training, or content (blogs, brief videos) that extends our mission To apply Email a letter of interest and resume/CV to: More at https://meristemtherapy.com/employment
