Minimum Qualifications:
Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program preferred.
Goal:
Assist students, staff and visitors in the school to maintain an efficient, courteous and orderly environment.
Job Duties:
Assists with roll call to ensure accountability for all students Assists in planning and implementing student activities for assigned classes Assists in maintaining proper records ? Assists in the distribution of snacks Actively supervises students during daily activities Maintains expectations for students' behavior and safety and informs Assistant Coordinator of difficulties requiring disciplinary action Attends and participates in After School Program staff meetings and required training sessions Maintains a good attendance record and makes Assistant Coordinator aware when needing to be absent Follows appropriate procedures for emergencies such as student or staff health concerns, severe weather, suspected fire or facility issues Ensures adherence to good safety procedures Follows federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies Performs other duties as assigned This position is a temporary assignment; payment based on hours worked, and as work is available, with no eligibility or seniority for employee benefits. All employees are eligible to participate in the
CCSD 403
(b) or 457(b) retirement savings account.
