DESCRIPTION
See attachment The Newton Community School District has an opening for a Full Time Behavior Interventionist.. This position will be responsible to support the high school behavior program, individual student behavior plans and provide intervention as needed.
Requirements:
Two-year degree in social work, psychology, or related field. Training in behavior management and crisis management is preferred, but not necessary. Experience working with behavior students in a structured situation is highly desired. Must be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and have the ability to work calmly and effectively in challenging situations
