Agency:

At Adapt Ability Autism Services, LLC we collaborate with our clients in order to: promote independence and prioritize choice, foster empathy and acceptance in our communities, empower our learners to communicate and self-advocate. Adapt Ability is a small team local to East Central Indiana. We prioritize compassion, acceptance, and building community through our programs. We want to equip you to do what you do best: take care of your families and their team! We pride ourselves on serving our rural communities by bringing high quality ABA services to our consumers. Services are provided in home, school, and our classroom space in Portland, IN. If you are a compassionate clinician who wants to be able to provide the best possible care to your clients, we hope you will reach out! We offer flexibility in scheduling and a supportive environment. The BCaBA will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programs to clients in the home, school, or clinical settings and training and supervising RBTs at the direction of the Clinical Director (BCBA). We are currently providing services in Jay County, Delaware County, and Randolph County. This position offers some opportunity for Telehealth; however, we do request that the clinician be available for in-person consults.

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, early childhood education/development, special education, psychology or a related field (Required)

License:

Minimum of a BCaBA certification by the BACB, in good standing (Required) Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst in Indiana Qualified to supervise RBTs (Required)

Requirements:

Current and maintain minimum of a BCaBA certificate (on file) Valid automobile insurance and registration (on file) Reliable means of transportation and a valid Indiana Driver's License (on file) Pass a criminal background check, DCS history check, and drug screen Maintain CPR certification (every 2 years) Maintain HIPAA compliance training (annual)

Additional Knowledge and Skills Required:

A minimum of one year working with children with Autism (ASD), intellectual disability, and/or related neuro-developmental disorders Commitment to excellence and high standards Strong documentation skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage workflow Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels. Ability to adapt and effective manage change Ability to understand and adhere to company policies, procedures and practices Proactively seek out training for skills outside individual competency Primary duties and responsibilities: Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior intervention plans for individuals Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and chart progress Ability to maintain established records and files Continuously track data in daily/weekly progress notes in the form of charts, graphs, etc. to ensure treatment is effective. Revise treatment and teaching procedures as needed Submit weekly progress notes for each client with what was covered during supervision, progress on goals, and behavior graphing Report cancelled appointments directly to the supervising BCBA and the Business Administrator for each client Assist with skills assessments and functional behavior assessments Maintain and keep track of individual schedule
