Job Summary:
The Rucks Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Organizational Behavior/ Human Resource Management at the Assistant Professor rank to begin in Fall 2027. Senior Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply. Applicants with prior tenure-track experience should have a strong research record commensurate with experience and junior candidates must show promise for the development of a solid research agenda. This position requires the Assistant Professor to teach management courses at the undergraduate and graduate-level and to conduct research and publish in top management journals or those in closely related fields.
Job Responsibilities:
45%
  • Teach undergraduate
  • and graduate-level courses (primarily in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management). Normal teaching load is two courses per semester, i.e., four courses per academic year. 45%
  • Engage in academic research and publish in academic journals in management or in closely related fields. 10%
  • Undertake assignments normally associated with teaching, scholarship, and University service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
PhD/D.B.A. in Management or related field; ABD candidates will be considered.
Specific Experience:
Primary area in organizational behavior/ human resource management. Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching or demonstrated potential for excellence.
