Job Summary:
The Rucks Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Associate / Assistant Professor rank in either Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management or Strategic Management to begin in Fall 2027. Associate Professors and senior Assistant Professors with a strong research record are particularly encouraged to apply. Junior candidates must show strong promise for the development of a solid research agenda. This position requires the Assistant/Associate Professor teach management courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as to conduct research and publish in top management journals or those in closely related fields.Job Responsibilities:
45%- Teach undergraduate
- and graduate-level courses primarily in the area of focus (either Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management or Strategic Management). Normal teaching load is two courses per semester, i.e., four courses per academic year. 45%
- Engage in academic research and publishing. 10%
- Undertake assignments normally associated with teaching, scholarship, and university service.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education:
Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Management or related field. For Assistant Professor level, ABD candidates will be considered.Years of Experience:
Assistant Professor:
0-5 years;Associate Professor:
6+ yearsSpecific Experience:
Primary focus area in organizational behavior/human resource management or strategic management. Demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching or demonstrated potential for excellence.Job Competencies:
