We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Administrative & Office Assistant to support our clinical team and help create an excellent patient experience. Position Summary The Administrative & Office Assistant plays a key role in the daily operations of our practice by supporting front desk activities, patient scheduling, administrative tasks, and communication with patients, providers, and community partners. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a positive first impression of the practice
- Answer and triage incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
- Send appointment reminders and assist with patient communications
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EHR system
- Assist with medication-related requests and pharmacy communications
- Coordinate with clinicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and external providers as needed
- Support the Office Manager with administrative and operational duties
- Help maintain efficient office workflows and patient service standards Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative, healthcare, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, scheduling platforms, and EHR systems
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent patient service
