Job Description
The Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adults with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This is a 6-bed unit that offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed adults. This is a full-time, 36 hours/week position that requires availability to work 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) and every other weekend. This position is accepting applications until June 22, 2026. As a Mental Health Worker you will: Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors. Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse. Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.
