In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health care, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient-centered services. Your expertise will help improve mental wellness across diverse populations, including acute care settings, outpatient clinics, and community health environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using EMR/EHR systems. Prescribe and manage medications for psychiatric conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop integrated care strategies tailored to individual patient needs. Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health care, utilizing secure virtual platforms for consultations and follow-up appointments. Perform specialized procedures such as IV infusion, medication administration, and basic life support during emergency situations. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records while maintaining HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standards. Qualifications Valid licensure as a NP/PA or MD/DO. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus Strong knowledge of pharmacology related to psychopharmacology and medication management. Psychiatric experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Ability to diagnose common psychiatric conditions and treat according to current guidelines. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards, and utilization review processes to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
