Key qualifications:

Completion of Para Test Certification OR proof of at least two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution, OR a college degree Experience working with students with disabilities or in a behavioral support role is highly valued Preferred candidates are female, given the need to assist with toileting for a female student Physical capability to assist with lifting, feeding, and personal care Calm demeanor, patience, and understanding when supporting students who are non-verbal and may become frustrated Willingness to work onsite and participate in in-person interviews Your responsibilities will include: Providing consistent 1:1 support for a middle school student, ensuring her educational and personal-care needs are met throughout the day Assisting with toileting, feeding, and mobilityhelping her safely and comfortably navigate daily routines Communicating effectively with teaching staff and specialists to implement behavior and learning plans Responding patiently and supportively to challenging behaviors, using available support and resources in the classroom Actively fostering a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive Enjoy the impact of a full school year contract (32.5 hours per week), with dedicated team support and a schedule that aligns with the academic calendar.
