Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team! As an essential part of our behavioral health services, you will work directly with children in educational settings to implement evidence-based interventions that promote positive development and learning. Your role will focus on supporting students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities by assisting with daily activities, collecting behavioral data, and delivering personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols. Hours 815am-330pm Monday - Friday Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other licensed professional. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, dressing, feeding, and grooming, fostering independence and skill development. Collect and record accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support classroom teachers and therapists by reinforcing teaching strategies aligned with each student's care plan. Use positive behavior management techniques to promote cooperation, reduce challenging behaviors, and encourage skill acquisition. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency across settings and support successful outcomes. Maintain confidentiality of medical records, treatment documentation, and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and special education practices. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention protocols consistently. Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress and documenting client responses accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and maintaining HIPAA compliance in handling sensitive information. Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working directly with children is a plus. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement.
