Position Options:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)Duration:
16 Weeks toLong-Term Contract Shifts Available:
7:00 AM- 3:00 PM | 3:00 PM
- 11:00 PM | 11:00 PM
- 7:00 AM Role Overview We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and resilient professionals to join our behavioral health team.
Psychiatric Focus Direct Patient Care:
Assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients with daily living activities (ADLs) under the direction of nursing and medical staff.Clinical Monitoring:
Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care (e.g., open wounds, bruises, physical symptoms) and note observations or complaints to the nursing team.Activity & Transport Coordination:
Lead patients in educational and recreational activities; accompany patients to and from examinations and treatments.Safety & Compliance:
Assist in restraining violent patients when necessary to ensure a safe environment; stay up-to-date on facility policies, procedures, and CNA training.Patient Support:
Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements. Option 2: Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)ABA Plan Implementation:
Provide direct care to clients by accurately implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Data-Driven Care:
Collect data during sessions and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on real-time client progress.Communication & Collaboration:
Work closely with clients, families, and the treatment team; explain treatment plans and progress in a clear, concise manner.De-escalation & Patience:
Maintain a positive, calm, and patient attitude when navigating challenging behaviors associated with developmental disabilities. Requirements & Qualifications Licensure & Certifications (Required for Both Roles) BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Active State License (CNA License or RBT Certification)Key Skills & Experience For CNAs:
Prior, verifiable experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is required.For RBTs:
Strong foundational understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.Core Competencies:
