Job Description:
As an On-site Counselor at The Conversation Location, you will play a crucial role in providing professional counseling services to clients through virtual channels. You will offer guidance, support, and therapeutic assistance to individuals seeking help with a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges. This position is ideal for licensed counselors, therapists, psychologists, and Ph.D.-level professionals in the counseling and psychology field looking to expand their reach and impact in both on-site and online spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one counseling sessions with clients through video, chat, face-to-face, or phone platforms. Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide empathetic, non-judgmental, and confidential support to clients. Offer guidance on various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress, and more. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations (for psychologists and Ph.D.-level professionals). Maintain accurate and secure client records while adhering to ethical and legal guidelines. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of mental health and counseling. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients. Attend regular supervision and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge. Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and client confidentiality.
Requirements:
Experience in virtual/on-site counseling. Must have a North Carolina or State Neighbor License. Able to work near Fayetteville, NC. A valid license as a counselor, therapist, psychologist, or social worker. Ph.D.-level professionals in counseling and psychology are encouraged to apply. Psychologists must have experience conducting psychological assessments. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and technology. Strong empathy and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of clients effectively. Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. Flexibility to work varied hours to accommodate client needs. 1099
