Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Peer Support Supervisor (QMHP) to lead and inspire a team of peer support specialists within our behavioral health programs. Required Trainings (Must Have to Apply) 3 hours of Peer Support Services Policy components review 1 hour of Documentation Training 3 hours of Peer Support Supervisor Training 12 hours of Person-Centered Thinking 3 hours of PCP Instructional Elements with Comprehensive Prevention and Intervention Crisis Plan Training Duties Supervise, mentor, and train peer support specialists to deliver effective behavioral health services aligned with recovery principles Coordinate client care plans utilizing motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and crisis intervention techniques Oversee documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards Lead crisis management efforts by responding promptly to urgent situations involving clients with co-occurring disorders or substance use issues Facilitate team meetings focused on client progress, cultural competence, and best practices in behavioral health care Advocate for clients' needs by sharing personal recovery experiences and promoting peer support advocacy within the community Maintain ongoing communication with clients to support engagement, motivation, and adherence to treatment plans Working Requirements Two or more years of post-bachelor graduate experience in mental health/substance abuse or one or more years of experience post Masters Certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or equivalent credential required; prior supervisory experience preferred Proven experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices including crisis management, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, and social work principles Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse communities using trauma-informed care approaches Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on maintaining confidentiality and building trust Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation standards in behavioral health settings Ability to share personal recovery experiences responsibly while fostering hope and resilience among clients Join our team as a Certified Peer Support Supervisor (QMHP) to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking recovery.
