Mental Health Worker (MHW)•

Concord, NH We are seeking compassionate and dependable Mental Health Workers (MHWs) to provide direct patient care in an acute psychiatric care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Days:

7:00 AM•3:00

PM Evenings:

3:00 PM•11:00

PM Nights:

11:00 PM•7:00

AM Responsibilities:

Assist with patient admissions, orientation, and documentation Monitor patient behavior and promptly report changes in condition Support patients with daily living activities, hygiene, and nutritional needs Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment Observe and document patient behaviors, including safety concerns Escort and supervise patients during appointments and other activities Reinforce treatment goals and provide emotional support using de-escalation techniques Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications:

Experience in mental health or psychiatric care preferred Previous direct patient care experience preferred Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health challenges Orientation will be conducted on the day shift for the first 4 weeks. Pay:

$20.00•$21.00 per hour
