Mental Health Worker (MHW)
Location:
Concord, NH 03301
Position Type:
Contract (3+ months)
Pay Rate:
$22.00•$25.00/hour
Available Shifts:
First Shift:
7:00 AM•3:00 PM (4 Openings)
Evening Shift:
3:00 PM•11:00 PM (4 Openings)
Night Shift:
11:00 PM•7:00 AM (4 Openings)
Orientation:
4 weeks on First Shift Job Responsibilities Assist with patient admissions and orientation. Search for contraband and document patient valuables. Monitor patient behavior and report changes in condition. Support patients with hygiene and daily living activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment. Assist with patient nutrition and document intake. Support de-escalation and crisis intervention. Escort patients to appointments, legal proceedings, and activities. Reinforce individualized treatment plans. Complete accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement activities. Attend mandatory training and staff meetings. Requirements Previous Mental Health Worker or psychiatric experience preferred. Previous mental health or behavioral health experience preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required at the time of submission.
COVID-19
vaccination required. Ability to work in an acute psychiatric care environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay:
$22.00•$25.00 per hour
