Behavioral Monitor- Behavioral Health Unit Alaris Health at Cedar Grove - 3.0 Cedar Grove, NJ Job Details Full-time $9 - $10 a week 1 hour ago Qualifications Resident hobbies assistance Direct behavioral therapy Observational assessments for behavioral monitoring De-escalation techniques Emergency response in crisis intervention Behavioral support plan implementation Working with individuals with mental health conditions Entry level Full Job Description The Behavioral Monitor assists in the planning, organizing and monitoring of daily interaction for 1:1 residents. The Behavioral Monitor prepares reports on the residents' progress as may be required.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 observation with physicians orders on all 3 shifts; Effectively initiates behavior modification, de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to maintain safety and promote healing on the unit; Assists residents with leisure recreation; Notifies Nursing staff of any behaviors that occur during shift; Request assistance from Nursing staff for all clinical needs; Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights; Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Nursing Department;
