Job Summary The Behavioral Assistant (BA) provides services in the child's (aged 4-21) home or community. The focus in on behavioral modification, coping skill enhancement, and modeling. Decrease in high-risk behaviors is the goal. Behavioral Assistant provides feedback to the IIC Therapist and the child's family. In situations where a family is assigned to both BA and IIC Therapist services, both the BA and IIC Therapist work as a team to improve life domain functioning. These workers link to provide more focused and intensive complimentary services. They communicate on a consistent basis about family progress. The IIC Therapist will develop the overall treatment plan, in addition to the specific Behavioral Assistance Individual Service Plan (BAISP). The behavioral assistant is responsible for applying the plan, participating in monthly supervision, and writing GDAP notes. Services are time-limited and should focus on transferring skills to the family and transitioning the family to community-based services and supports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field
• Driver's license and vehicle
• Fingerprint clearance (facilitated by agency after hire)
• Specialized BA training (facilitated by agency after hire)
• One-year related experience
• Bilingual highly desired

Pay:

From $30.00 per hour
