They support children and adolescents ages 4-21 who have behavioral, emotional, or mental health needs through hands-on, skill-focused services.

Behavior support and skill development:

Teach and reinforce positive behaviors, social skills, emotional regulation strategies, and coping skills.

Daily routines and transitions:

Help youth follow routines, manage transitions, and build structure in home and community settings.

Direct care and engagement:

Support daily living activities, provide encouragement,and assist with therapeutic or recreational activities.

Safety and de-escalation:

Help maintain a calm, safe environment and assist with crisisde-escalation when needed.

Progress monitoring and communication:

Observe behavior, track progress toward goals, report significant changes, and communicate with the clinical team.

Documentation and coordination:

Maintain records, complete notes, organize clinical information, and support scheduling or other administrative tasks as needed. Experience Verifiable experience with youth and children required. Must meet with the youth and their family in their home and/or community on a weekly basis. Must maintain youth's clinical record including weekly progress notes Must collaborate and communicate effectively with all treatment team members (e.g.family, care manager, school, behavior assistant, mentor, etc.) Must attend child and family team meetings every 60-90 days for at least 1 hour Requirements 18 years of age Bachelor's Degree Must complete trainings within 6 months and complete ongoing trainings to maintain certification Complete fingerprinting and background check (fingerprinting - free to candidate) A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
