POSITION.This role is for a Behavioral Assistant (BA) within New Jersey's Children's System of Care (CSOC). It is not an RBT, Behavior Technician, or ABA therapy position.

Job Summary Holistik Therapy is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Assistants (BAs) to provide in-home and community-based behavioral support to children, adolescents, and their families throughout New Jersey. Behavioral Assistants work directly with youth and caregivers to help reinforce positive behaviors, strengthen coping and life skills, improve emotional regulation, and support goals identified by the child's treatment team. This is a hands-on, community-based role designed for individuals who enjoy working directly with children and families and want to gain meaningful experience within New Jersey's behavioral health system. BAs work as part of a collaborative treatment team and receive guidance and supervision from qualified clinical professionals. Responsibilities Provide behavioral support to children and adolescents in their homes and community settings. Implement behavioral interventions and strategies identified by the youth's treatment team. Help children practice coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, and age-appropriate life skills. Support caregivers in reinforcing consistent behavioral strategies within the home. Engage youth in structured activities designed to improve functioning and support treatment goals. Observe and document behavioral patterns, progress, challenges, and responses to interventions. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and New Jersey Children's System of Care requirements. Communicate regularly with the assigned clinical team regarding the youth's progress and any concerns. Participate in supervision, case consultation, training, and ongoing professional development. Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and agency policies. Travel to client homes and community locations as required. This Position Does Not Include ABA therapy RBT or Behavior Technician services Conducting psychological or diagnostic evaluations Diagnosing mental health conditions Providing independent psychotherapy Developing treatment plans independently Working independently without clinical oversight Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, sociology, criminal justice, human services, or a related field preferred. Experience working with children, adolescents, or families strongly preferred. Experience in behavioral health, mental health, child welfare, education, mentoring, youth programs, or community-based services is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport with children and caregivers while maintaining professional boundaries. Reliable transportation and willingness to provide services in clients' homes and community settings. Ability to complete required documentation within agency timelines. Comfortable working independently in the community while remaining connected to the clinical treatment team. Must meet all New Jersey Children's System of Care and agency onboarding requirements. BA Certification Behavioral Assistants must complete the required New Jersey Behavioral Assistant certification process within the applicable timeframe. Holistik Therapy provides guidance and resources to assist new BAs with completing the certification requirements. Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 40.0 per week
