This is an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing careers in mental health, social work, psychology, or counseling to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact. As a Behavioral Assistant, you will play a key role in helping youth build skills, improve functioning, and succeed in their home, school, and community environments. Key Responsibilities Implement behavioral intervention plans under clinical supervision Support youth in developing coping, social, and daily living skills Provide services in home, school, and community settings Complete timely and accurate progress notes and documentation Collaborate with IIC providers, families, and care teams Assist in reducing maladaptive behaviors and reinforcing positive skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Minimum 1 year experience working with children/adolescents preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently in community settings Valid driver's license & reliable transportation Certification Must obtain NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification Lumina provides guidance and support through certification process Why Join Lumina Mental Health?
