Duties Supervise daily activities of residents, ensuring their safety and well-being in accordance with program guidelines. Provide child and youth care, supporting their emotional development and behavioral management through engaging activities. Implement de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts effectively and maintain a calm environment. Assist with intake procedures, case management tasks, and data collection to support individualized resident plans. Administer medications following proper protocols and document medication administration accurately. Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing First Aid and CPR skills to respond swiftly to emergencies. Support residents with behavioral health issues, substance use disorders, and mental health conditions through compassionate communication and support strategies. Experience Prior supervising experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields is highly desirable. Demonstrated childcare or youth support experience working with culturally diverse communities. Knowledge of security procedures, manual handling, and resident confidentiality standards. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or from underserved communities is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office for documentation purposes such as filing reports and data collection. Training or certification in addiction counseling, crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, First Aid, CPR, and medication administration is advantageous.
