In this role, you will use your lived experience in recovery to provide hope, encouragement, and support to individuals receiving behavioral health and addiction treatment services. Due to the needs of the individuals we serve, we are seeking a MALE candidate for this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing peer support and building positive, professional relationships with clients in a behavioral health and addiction treatment setting. Schedule We are looking for someone with availability to work one of the following schedules: Sunday-Thursday , or Tuesday-Saturday Responsibilities Provide peer support, encouragement, and mentorship to clients. Encourage engagement in treatment and recovery. Assist clients in developing personal recovery goals. Connect clients with community resources and supportive services. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Work collaboratively with the clinical and treatment team. Serve as a positive role model and source of encouragement for individuals in recovery. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality. Qualifications Active Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter Certification is required. Lived experience with recovery and a passion for helping others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced behavioral health and addiction treatment environment.
