Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part time Behavioral Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, develop tailored behavioral interventions, and provide ongoing support to enhance their quality of life. This is a part-time position with hours of 8:00-12:00 per day. Responsibilities identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement behavioral therapy techniques and interventions based on best practices and client-specific goals. Collect and analyze data related to client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, healthcare providers, and family members, to coordinate comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field or Three (3) Years experience working in behavioral health. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices and the ability to implement effective interventions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on promoting positive behavioral changes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
