As a Behavioral Support Specialist you will contribute your leadership and behavioral expertise to guide an individual's team of support staff toward empowering the individual to build upon their skillset and succeed in targeted goal areas. You will identify essential strategies to encourage active engagement/participation, positive interactions, and perseverance.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure clients' health, safety, dignity, and individual rights Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) that are individualized, identify SMART behavioral goals to be monitored, and are comprehensive in specifying strategies for implementation to support the individual's progress Develop a Crisis Intervention Plan (CIP) and provide crisis intervention support as needed Monitor and analyze data, making changes when necessary Provide training on the BSP and its implementation Collaborate with the person's service treatment team, including participation in the individual's ISP meetings Complete/submit all daily progress notes and time sheets in a timely/professional manner in accordance with ACCS policy
Qualifications:
Master's Degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavioral Analysis, REQUIRED o AND/OR have a PA Behavior Specialist License o
AND/OR BCBA - ACCS
offers supervision to those pursuing BCBA Must have
Valid PA Driver's License Job Types:
