(LSS) is seeking an experienced, motivated professional to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director / Behavior Specialist . This position combines leadership, clinical oversight, and behavior support to ensure high-quality services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) living in community residential homes. Position Responsibilities As an Assistant Director / Behavior Specialist, you will: Supervise and support Residential Coordinators and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Provide leadership and oversight for residential programs. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs). Support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Mental Health (MH) diagnoses. Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Chapters 6100 and 6400 regulations. Assist with staff scheduling and operational oversight of residential homes. Provide coaching, training, and problem-solving support to residential teams. Review behavioral data, monitor progress, and make recommendations for plan revisions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and outside providers to ensure quality services. Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic record systems.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience . Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the human services field. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and computer skills. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances.
Preferred:
Master's degree in a related field. Experience developing and implementing Behavioral Support Plans. Knowledge of Pennsylvania 6100 and 6400 regulations. Why Join Lifestyle Support Services?
