Job description: Full job description Applicants must hold one of the following : Board Certified Behavior Analyst, current RBT or combination of experience and degree in psychology or special education Wednesday 330-730p; 4 hrs/wk (permanent) Optional additional weekend and other open shifts for staff call-outs, not mandatory As a Support Service Professional (SSP), you will partner one-on-on with a young adult living with a disability to assist her in acquiring, maintaining, and improving the skills necessary to accomplish the goals and outcomes she has set for herself. The SSP's role consists of assisting, supporting, and guiding in the general areas of health maintenance, decision making, communication, relationship development and personal adjustment/behavior management. The SSP is also responsible for service documentation and various reporting obligations. Currently seeking team members for a sweet, compassionate and entertaining young woman living with multiple behavioral and mental health diagnosis that can be managed with clear, positive communication and setting expectations while consistently following the individual support plan. A successful SSP will build a relationship of trust and encouragement, see her potential to overcome challenges, and work with her in an engaging manner. The SSP will support her in activities of daily living and facilitate strategies and approaches as defined in the behavior support plan to encourage goal attainment; including, independence and socialization.
