• 24 hour overnight shifts per week About Our Team We are a family-directed team of caregivers, support professionals, specialists, and family members who provide individualized in-home and community-based support.

We are currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Third-Shift Overnight Companion to provide supervision and supports during evening and overnight/sleeping hours. Position Overview The Overnight Companion provides individualized supervision and assistance in the person's private home during overnight hours. This position is primarily focused on health, safety, welfare, overnight supervision, and non-habilitative assistance. The Overnight Companion follows the individual's support plan, established sleep routine, behavioral support strategies, health and safety protocols, and emergency procedures. The individual may sleep for much of the shift; however, staff must remain attentive and available to provide supervision and assistance when needed throughout the night. What We Are Looking For A successful Overnight Companion is someone who is dependable, observant, patient, calm, and comfortable working independently We especially value someone who:

• Is reliable and consistently arrives for scheduled shifts.
• Can remain calm and respond appropriately when unexpected situations occur.
• Can document important information clearly and accurately.
• Welcomes training and feedback.
• Enjoys being part of a collaborative team while also being capable of working independently.

Training Previous experience with autism or developmental disabilities is helpful but is not required for the right candidate. New employees receive paid orientation and training, including online training as well as individualized, hands-on instruction from experienced team members and specialists. Training may include autism support, individualized communication and behavioral strategies, health and safety procedures, sleep-hygiene supports, emergency procedures, documentation requirements, and the individual's specific support needs. Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled overnight shifts.
• Must successfully complete required orientation and training.
• Must meet applicable employment, background-clearance requirements. Benefits

Schedule Third Shift / Overnight Approximately 10-24 hours per week, depending upon scheduling needs and employee availability. Additional hours may occasionally be available.
